build log
Emerging with icedtea-bin-7 as a system-vm works. Each major ANTLR release is compatible with the last so, in theory, we could drop v3 but there are two problems. Firstly the v4 ebuild only support Java at the moment and secondly, v4 requires v3 to build. The v4 ebuild uses a prebuilt copy of v3 while v3 actually depends on the v2 ebuild. I don't like ANTLR ebuilds depending on each other but I don't like prebuilt stuff either so what I would really like is solely a v4 ebuild that builds a new v3 using the prebuilt v3 and then builds v4. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 506678 *** |
