The configure script accepts --disable-readline, --without-readline and --without-editline, and they don't necessarily mean what we think they mean. I have added IUSE=libedit and a REQUIRED_USE restricting choice to at most one of IUSE="libedit readline". This will probably upset some people so it's in -r1. |
