That is really weird. It actually depends on x11-libs/gtk+:2. Nozdormu aegwynn # emerge -a openctm These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! [ebuild NS ] x11-libs/gtk+-2.24.24 [3.12.2] USE="cups introspection xinerama (-aqua) -debug -examples {-test} -vim-syntax" ABI_X86="32 (64) (-x32)" [ebuild N ~] media-libs/openctm-1.0.3 I will test it on hardened system too. Amynka I don't see that dep listed in ebuild, then, maybe you have gtk+2 pulled indirectly and that would explain this Ah it looks like that this commit was when (before) cvs was broken.. 14 Oct 2014; Amy Winston <amynka@gentoo.org> openctm-1.0.3.ebuild: Gtk+ dependency repaired bug #525328 from my changelog.
