Is it necessary yet? The only change is support for libav-10 and that's still masked.

If r1 does not break anything, why keep in tree 2 versions of ebuild for strigi 0.7.8 release?

I am mainly thinking about load on arch teams. There could be further future changes required.

Another vote for stabilising since recently stabled media-video/libav-11.3 breaks strigi-0.7.8. ;)
