As you can see there are already 0 consumers for eapi1 and soon will be the same for eapi0.

I would then deprecate the support for that eapis for 1 month to allow people from overlays to update to newer eapis and, after that, drop the support from them allowing us to clean the stuff for that old eapis

Do you see any problems with this approach?
