Also examples, tutorial and man are found in / I've just released qt-dcs-3.0.5; please check if this happens with this new vesrion. Also, are all files instaled in / or do some end up in /usr/qt/3/doc? Are there any errors during the emerge process? I just emerged qt-docs-3.0.5 and everything is installed in the root directory. *** Bug 5490 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This is apparently the fault of a pkg_setup bug that was discovered and (apparently) fixed in portage 2.0.19 or thereabouts (which is still masked). Anyhow the qt-docs ebuild has been changed not to use pkg_setup for now, this was some time ago but I forgot to update the bugreport. Please confirm the the ebuild installs into /usr/qt/3 now. Using portage 2.0.23 qt-docs-3.0.4.1 now installs correctly into /usr/qt/3/ (and as far as I can tell, nowhere else). I could not test 3.0.5, yet. OK, then the fix worked. Portage 2.0.23 installed qt-docs-3.0.5 correctly in /usr/qt/3. Thanks! |
