Hiya, Attached is my ebuild for rkhunter (rootkit hunter), a--as you guessed it--root kit hunter. rkhunter is similar to chkrootkit, with (allegedly) a number of advanced features on-the-way. It's written in perl and sh, and checks for a number of signs of rootkits (LKMs, incorrect permissions, default files, MD5 hashes for known files, etc). You can find it at http://www.rootkit.nl/projects/rootkit_hunter.html. I suggest app-admin/rkhunter. rkhunter depends upon wget and perl. Dan
