Today I got an email from dropbox stating:

"We see that you're running an old version of Dropbox on your computer, '<hostname>'. We regularly release new versions with additional features, better performance, and security enhancements.

Next week, we'll be retiring the version you're currently using. Please update your application so that you can continue using Dropbox."

I'm using the current stable 2.6.33.

I've filed this bug for 2.8.4, but perhaps it makes more sense to mark 2.10.2 stable already?
