(In reply to Mike Gilbert from comment #2) > Attach your build log please. It is in tar.gz archive, because the original file is too large. Comment on attachment 382994 [details]
build_log.tar.gz
Why would you put a single file in a tar archive?
I suspect it's due to libgnome-keyring getting deprecated in 3.12. Probably chromium is defining GNOME_KEYRING_DEPRECATED somewhere (though obviously not on the command line) and that makes things fail. I was unable to reproduce this failure. This is with www-client/chromium-37.0.2062.68 . I tried both USE="gnome gnome-keyring" and USE="-gnome gnome-keyring". What version of gnome-keyring are you using? Can anyone else reproduce this? # eix -I --format '<installedversions:NAMEVERSION>' gnome-keyring gnome-base/gnome-keyring-3.12.2-r1 gnome-base/libgnome-keyring-3.12.0 Found 2 matches. "Fixed" doesn't mean just fixed on your system. There was clearly a problem with dependencies not requiring new enough libgnome-keyring. 22 Aug 2014; Pawel Hajdan jr <phajdan.jr@gentoo.org> chromium-37.0.2062.68.ebuild, chromium-38.0.2125.0.ebuild: Depend on >=gnome-base/libgnome-keyring-3.12, bug #520078 by Yuriy Rusinov. I'll keep the bug open until the fix gets into stable. Thanks for the report! chromium-37 is now stable, closing |
