failing to compile packet libgda . . .
Looks like libgda depends on yelp, but this is not recorded in the ebuild. Could anyone check their configure and find out if there's a manual yelp override (something like --disable-yelp/--enable-yelp or --without-yelp/--with-yelp or *help?) Statically adding yelp to RDEPENDS and DEPENDS will likely fix this issue, though. Actually, it's not yelp but yelp-tools, as determined by slicktux. I was able to compile libgda once I compiled (installed) app-text/yelp-tools. 'equery d libgda' does not list app-text/yelp-tools as a dependency. . . Also, app-text/yelp-tools may be a build dependency (DEPENDS) only. As I do not know if it's also used at run time, I went for also suggesting RDEPENDS, but that may actually be wrong. Someone will have to check if app-text/yelp-tools is actually needed at run time. In any case, it should be added to at least DEPENDS. (EDIT) 'equery d yelp-tools' does not list libgda as a dependency. . . whatever makes more sense. that is the logic of the tool my mistake. + 18 Apr 2015; Pacho Ramos <pacho@gentoo.org> libgda-5.2.2.ebuild: + yelp-tools needed at build time (#514320) + |
