I've stripped the escape sequences
It looks like you're missing Docbook-3.0's DTD, please follow the directions given on bug #49838 to emerge the DTD, try emerging libgnomeprint again and let us know the results. Thanks. Ok, emerging docbook-3 fixes the problem. The question is, why isn't it a dependency? Ok, the issue is resolved now. As for why it wasn't a dependency before, what happens is that this particular kind of deps are hard to track, and usually the best way to make sure adding a certain dependency fixes the problem is through feedback from users like you.
