The mod_wsgi use flag is no longer necessary in PyMongo 2.7. I've coded around mod_wsgi's issues with python sub-interpreters and C extensions. See the following for more information:

My bad Bernie, I didn't see it when going through the changelog. I'll take the chance to thank you for your great and exciting improvements :)
