Looks like we neither provide an init.d openRC script to allow this way to start xbmc (that would add a dependency on xinit), would prefer to know if our package maintainers agree with this way to start it not at this time. that unit utilizes users/groups that the ebuild doesn't create and otherwise don't make sense. at this time, you can accomplish largely the same thing with any login manager and configuring it to autologin for any user you want, and having that user launch xbmc as their session. *** Bug 519542 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
