confirm
Confirmed: * breaks with -j4 like in build.log above * FEATURES=-ccache doesn't help * MAKEOPTS=-j1 compiles cleanly looks like a regression caused by Gentoo specific -dynamic-kmod.patch from bug 493630 (In reply to Samuli Suominen from comment #4) > looks like a regression caused by Gentoo specific -dynamic-kmod.patch from > bug 493630 someone with this failure, please test dropping "epatch "${FILESDIR}"/${PN}-15-dynamic-kmod.patch #493630" line from the ebuild to verify this (In reply to Samuli Suominen from comment #5) > (In reply to Samuli Suominen from comment #4) > > looks like a regression caused by Gentoo specific -dynamic-kmod.patch from > > bug 493630 > > someone with this failure, please test dropping "epatch > "${FILESDIR}"/${PN}-15-dynamic-kmod.patch #493630" line from the ebuild to > verify this I see this issue with sys-apps/kmod-16 USE="lzma openrc tools zlib -debug -doc -static-libs" on ~amd64 with MAKEOPTS=-j2. Removing the ${PN}-15-dynamic-kmod.patch from the ebuild makes kmod build without issue. Unsetting MAKEOPTS works too. vapier, can you fix the patch to be parallel make compatible? forcing -j1 for Gentoo patch seems stupid Closing on behalf of ssuominen: "patch no longer applied in >= 19" |
