What versions of glib and gtk+:2 are you using? (In reply to Alexandre Rostovtsev from comment #1) > What versions of glib and gtk+:2 are you using? eroen@falcon ~ $ emerge --info glib gtk+:2 ... ================================================================= Package Settings ================================================================= dev-libs/glib-2.36.4-r1 was built with the following: USE="xattr -debug (-fam) (-selinux) -static-libs -systemtap -test -utils" ABI_X86="32 64 -x32" PYTHON_TARGETS="python2_7 -python2_6" x11-libs/gtk+-2.24.21 was built with the following: USE="cups introspection xinerama (-aqua) -debug -examples -test -vim-syntax" It seems that pygobject:2 and pygtk:2 are broken with glib-2.36 :/ I've fixed pygobject, but there is some weirdness going on with the pygtk test. I am thinking the test itself might be broken... +*pygobject-2.28.6-r54 (02 Oct 2013) + + 02 Oct 2013; Alexandre Rostovtsev <tetromino@gentoo.org> + +pygobject-2.28.6-r54.ebuild, + +files/pygobject-2.28.6-glib-2.36-class_init.patch: + Fix class interface setup to be compatible with glib-2.36. Remove old + alternatives symlink removal hack since it fails badly with binpkgs (bug + #459180, thanks to Fabio Erculiani). The tests have been failing before for months, but they were hidden due bug #391307, I doubt this is a regression by newer gtk/glib You are right, pygtk-2.24.0-r3 on stable amd64 failed the same way. I've fixed the test, and submitted the patch upstream at https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=709304 + 02 Oct 2013; Alexandre Rostovtsev <tetromino@gentoo.org> + pygtk-2.24.0-r4.ebuild, +files/pygtk-2.24.0-test_dialog.patch: + Fix test failure (bug #486602, thanks to eroen). |
