amd64 stable Stable for HPPA. bash-completion 1.3-r2 is stable on x86 but requires eselect <1.37 or eselect-bashcomp. since eselect 1.3.8 is stable on x86 and eselect-bashcomp isn't it is currently impossible to build bash-completion on stable systems. Given how simple the changes are, I am marking eselect-bashcomp stable but I really think there is a repoman bug here because it's not warning at all. portage team, please engage. (In reply to Rick Farina (Zero_Chaos) from comment #3) > bash-completion 1.3-r2 is stable on x86 but requires eselect <1.37 or > eselect-bashcomp. > > since eselect 1.3.8 is stable on x86 and eselect-bashcomp isn't it is > currently impossible to build bash-completion on stable systems. Huh? bash-completion in the stable tree should pull in eselect-1.3.6 then, and all its dependencies should be fulfilled. eselect 1.3.8 was stable and installed, portage didn't offer to automatically downgrade it for me. Maybe it's my fault somewhere. Either way, it's all good now, I tested everything on x86 and seems fine. arm stable alpha/ia64/s390/sh/sparc stable ppc/ppc64 done in bug 505848. |
