jpeg-9 is known to be broken, reopen the bug if you can still reproduce with jpeg-9-r1 and attach complete build.log here

Still there with media-libs/jpeg-9-r1 (never had 9 on my system actually)

As of today, I cannot reproduce this bug. Also, I only seem to have sci-geosciences/qlandkartegt-1.7.6-r2 available in my tree. I enabled all use-flags reported by the ebuild and tried compiling this with jpeg-9a and libjpeg-turbo-1.3.1, and was unable to see a compiler error. Can someone else verify this?

Well, what did you expect after a full year ;)

Closing my bug since all relevant package versions are out of the tree and I'm not using media-libs/jpeg anymore anyway
