When I downgrade to emul-linux-x86-baselibs-1.0 then gcc-3.3.3 compiles fine

Ok, this is my fault again... 
/usr/lib32/libc.so is a ld script _should_ point to /lib32/libc.so.6,
not to /lib/libc.so.6. Fixed in CVS now.
You need to sync and remerge emul-linux-x86-baselibs-1.1.
