Updating from 1.12.14-r2 to cairo-1.12.14-r3 broke spice-gtk-0.20. It won't update screen showing only what was at the moment of connection. Input works, though.

This might be a dupe of bug 477444.

Fixed in cairo-1.12.14-r4 if not using the xlib-xcb use flag.
