This is probably left over from kdeprefix? (In reply to comment #1) > This is probably left over from kdeprefix? Doesn't seem prefix-related so much as kde3->4 related, though those happened at the same time. I got a similar sort of notice about XSESSION from kdebase-startkde, and this is another one of those migration-oriented notices. These sorts of notices are fairly valuable immediately following a migration, but they have no value afterwards. Ideally they should only appear after the major upgrade, but as has been discussed on -dev that might be hard to implement without new functionality. News might be a better place to announce migration requirements in general. In any case, probably just worth thinking about end-of-life-ing some of those point-in-time notices. Again, I'll defer to the KDE team decision, and will be happy to file additional bugs as these are noticed if that is the direction established. Thanks for putting it on the agenda. HOME dir used to be slotted (because of kde3->kde4), then it was forced to .kde4. ELOG should be removed at this point. Thanks for reporting. We decided in the meeting to drop it. This is fixed in CVS now. + 23 May 2013; Johannes Huber <johu@gentoo.org> kdelibs-4.10.2-r1.ebuild, + kdelibs-4.10.3-r2.ebuild: + Drop obsolete einfo wrt bug #468002. + |
