http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit.cgi/poky/plain/meta/recipes-kernel/oprofile/oprofile/0001-Fix-PPC64-specific-libpfm-usage-so-it-doesn-t-break-.patch Does this patch fix it for you? The original code does the header check for both PPC and PPC64, after applying this patch the header check is only done on PPC64 and therefore it should no longer bail out on PPC. this patch does not apply to the current 0.9.8 Forgot about this one. I see there is a version bump for 0.9.9 out now. Did a diff between 0.9.8 and 0.9.9 and I see that the patch went in as well as; could you try again, then stabilize 0.9.9 instead on ppc/ppc64? + 11 Nov 2013; Tom Wijsman <TomWij@gentoo.org> +oprofile-0.9.9.ebuild: + Version bump to 0.9.9. Thank you in advance. ppc stable ppc64 stable. Closing. |
