/var/tmp/portage/kde-base/print-manager-4.10.1/work/print-manager-4.10.1/printer-manager-kcm/PrintKCM.cpp: In member function ‘void PrintKCM::updateServerFinished()’: /var/tmp/portage/kde-base/print-manager-4.10.1/work/print-manager-4.10.1/printer-manager-kcm/PrintKCM.cpp:362:33: error: ‘IPP_AUTHENTICATION_CANCELED’ was not declared in this scope What is your cups version? IPP_AUTHENTICATION_CANCELED is available since cups-1.5 Yes, it turns out that I have net-print/cups-1.4.8-r1. I tried to update it, but cups-1.5.2 requires the USB_PRINTER support disabled, and I have CONFIG_USB_PRINTER build into my kernel. Will try to rebuild the kernel and update CUPS. I will let you know about the results. I also sent a bug upstream because the CMake version check only specifies cups-1.4 (In reply to comment #4) > Yes, it turns out that I have net-print/cups-1.4.8-r1. I tried to update it, > but cups-1.5.2 requires the USB_PRINTER support disabled No it does not. Unset usb use flag on cups. cups-1.4 is unsupported and a security risk. Anyway, print-manager now depends on cups-1.5. Sorry for the late response. Just want to confirm that everything went fine after cups upgrade. Thanks! |
