Oh, this isn't specific to FreeMiNT, just that I have USE static-libs on and should manifest on other platforms with that use flag. ping ? fixed, thanks |
When building libarchive with the USE flag static-libs we turn on --enable-static, yet continue to try with.... --enable-bsdtar=shared \ --enable-bsdcpio=shared \ The build then fails with.... configure: error: in `/var/tmp/portage/app-arch/libarchive-3.1.1/work/libarchive-3.1.1': configure: error: Shared linking of bsdtar requires shared libarchive
