I didnt have any problems compiling 1.3.29-r1. Have you tried using less aggressive CFLAGS? yes. for example, if i comment out my cflags line in make.conf, i get the same thing. I'm thinking this is because I've got db-4.1.25, which seems to violate the dependency: <sys-libs/db-4.1 but I've also got db-1.85-r1. is there some way to fix this dependency without breaking whatever else depends on >db-4.1 ben: please include the output of: emerge -p '=sys-libs/db-4.0*' if it isn't installed, install it (just remove the -p from the emerge line) and try apache again. |
