@freedesktop: agree on mutual blocker? Added mutual blocker. + 21 Jan 2013; Alexandre Rostovtsev <tetromino@gentoo.org> + nss-myhostname-0.3.ebuild: + Block >=systemd-197 since it now includes a copy of nss-myhostname (bug + #453026, thanks to Michał Bartoszkiewicz). + 21 Jan 2013; Alexandre Rostovtsev <tetromino@gentoo.org> + systemd-197-r1.ebuild, systemd-9999.ebuild: + Block nss-myhostname since it was merged into systemd-197 (bug#453026, thanks + to Michał Bartoszkiewicz). + 21 Jan 2013; Alexandre Rostovtsev <tetromino@gentoo.org> + -openrc-settingsd-1.0.ebuild, openrc-settingsd-1.0.1.ebuild: + Update license. Update nss-myhostname dependency due to systemd-197 (bug + #453026). Drop old. I don't understand why systemd would need to ship yet another separate package but well, I'm not doing the unbundling work so... (In reply to comment #3) > I don't understand why systemd would need to ship yet another separate > package but well, I'm not doing the unbundling work so... Is it shipping it or has it eaten it? You'd have to ask Lennart, project page does not say a word about it. It's just a few .c files though so it wouldn't be too hard to keep it separate until upstream makes it difficult obviously :) http://0pointer.de/lennart/projects/nss-myhostname/ I compared the source files, and there don't appear to be any differences in the systemd version. Support for GNU/kFreeBSD was added to the original project, but not to the systemd version. http://git.0pointer.de/?p=nss-myhostname.git;a=commitdiff;h=1df2a0fce427fab7754f6ac572cf68cef2e95696 I wonder whether the original project is still maintained. A quick look shows that a bunch of fixes was added to the systemd version but at the same time support for non-Linux systems was removed completely... |
