Arches, please build-test and stabilize.

2.9.7 contains exactly one fix over 2.9.6, which has been in the tree for 4 years.

target keywords: ~x86 ~amd64 ~ppc ~ppc64

FYI: I am the upstream author, I rewrote this app for a job nearly a decade ago, and still maintain it, but it's been pretty much clear sailing for the last 5 years.

amd64 ok.
As a reminder, (line 60) 'doins' should have a '|| die' in EAPI=2.

Fixed.

Also, I have fixed the stderr spew that you reported to me via IRC, in 2.9.7.1.

For anybody that actually wants to try this, it's easiest if you have a system with nss_ldap installed and configured, as many of the defaults can be obtained from there. Otherwise you need to configure it yourself before you use it.
