Several users in the germans forums/irc reported exactly the same. Can anyone from the LiveCD team verify/confirm this, so that we can remove this option from the handbook? Removed the cdcache bootoption for x86 LiveCDs from the handbook ... Can anyone explain why it became necessary to remove this useful option? This was removed when switching livecd build tools. The genkernel maintainer (plasmaroo) is going to work on adding it back. Bug lies within genkernel's way of creating initrd's. Patch and new genkernel-version already present, testing still needed (will do) the genkernel version that fixes this is now stable, so closing. this states that it is resolved however i am still receiving this error The above comments point out that the issue in the livecd build tools has been fixed so that the next livecds will support it again. (not that fixed livecds have been released) Roger |
