amd64 tested ok My only suggestion is that sys-libs/ncurses doesn't need to be in DEPEND, because a) it is a dependency of sys-libs/readline, and b) it isn't linked directly, x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc -march=native -O2 -pipe -Wl,-O1 -Wl,--as-needed -Wl,--hash-style=gnu -o units units.o parse.tab.o getopt.o getopt1.o -lreadline -lm which can also be confirmed via scanelf. (In reply to comment #1) > My only suggestion is that sys-libs/ncurses doesn't need to be in DEPEND, > because a) it is a dependency of sys-libs/readline, and b) it isn't linked > directly, I guess it was still there (with the version spec) because an old version did require that specific version or better: http://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo-x86/app-misc/units/units-1.74.ebuild Right now the configure script still checks for termcap/ncurses/curses in case readline isn't available, but that should never happen. Fixed in 2.00 and 2.01. stable ppc Stable for HPPA. x86 stable amd64 stable Stable for SPARC. Continued in bug #448448. |
