Fixed in arduino-1.0.3. Hello everyone, Unfortunately, this seems to be a regression. Please reopen this bug. When emerging dev-embedded/arduino, currently version 1.0.5-r1, with the USE flag "example" enabled, this following message is printed: * prepcompress: ignoring nonexistent path '/usr/share/doc/arduino-1.0.5/examples' And indeed, there is no repertory "arduino1.0.5" but "arduino-1.0.5-r1" Inside the ebuild, line 67, there is the following instruction: docompress -x /usr/share/doc/${P}/examples/ Therefore, the error is using the variable ${P} instead of ${PF}, as specified on this webpage on section "controllable compression via docompress" https://devmanual.gentoo.org/ebuild-writing/eapi/ (see this webpage for ${P} and ${PF} meanings https://devmanual.gentoo.org/ebuild-writing/variables/) Thanks for support. (In reply to Thibaud "thican" CANALE from comment #2) in the future, you should file new bugs rather than post to old ones http://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=4b789fb8c0bb024735b896a274def7cd86ca3fb7 (In reply to SpanKY from comment #3) > in the future, you should file new bugs rather than post to old ones Not what I learned, when we told me to do the opposite and close my bugs as "duplicate". But thanks anyway. |
