This is not related to libtool. It looks like an --as-needed error caused by a wrong order of arguments to the linker. Marat: if you reported a bug, you do not need to add yourself to the CC list; also, in 99.9% of cases, please do not add arch teams like amd64@gentoo.org to the CC list. (The arch teams have a very specific role: they handle keywording/stabilization and portage profiles for their architecture, maintain certain architecture-specific packages like emul-linux-x86-*, and can help answer questions about an architecture's idiosyncrasies. They do not want to receive emails about every bug that happened to occur on an amd64 machine somewhere.) I saw debian is applying the following patch to fix gold linker problems: http://patch-tracker.debian.org/patch/series/view/gnome-phone-manager/0.68-3/fix_554658.patch maybe could help to this FTR, I worked on patches to have a working g-p-m in tree again, however chances are it will depend on >=eds-3.6. Live ebuild to test it is in gnome overlay. erf reverting status, it's time to go to sleep... +*gnome-phone-manager-0.69 (07 Apr 2013) + + 07 Apr 2013; Pacho Ramos <pacho@gentoo.org> + +files/0001-Adapt-to-Evolution-Data-Server-API-changes.patch, + +gnome-phone-manager-0.69.ebuild: + Version bump, also fixes building with eds-3.6 + Please retry with that version |
