It should probably *DEPEND on dev-libs/boost to start with. Depend only, it is not linking to boost anywhere. Created attachment 325138 [details]

I would like to add that this also happens for liborcus 0.1.0 ebuild; so it is no regression or something.
liborcus/.libs/liborcus-0.2.so: undefined reference to `boost::system::system_category()'
liborcus/.libs/liborcus-0.2.so: undefined reference to `boost::system::generic_category()'
Looks like this requires a link now, at least with gcc 4.7 (maybe they changed the ABI?). Fixed in cvs while fixing for boost 1.52. |
