This patch must be included till 2.7.20 released: https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppet/pull/983/files Description here: http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/15665 On my system after patching puppet apply runs 69 sec. Without patch - 614 sec. Please also make sure to mark this release again for ruby19. Currently the only ruby19 release is 2.7.12, causing downgrades if packages depend on puppet (e.g. my puppet-lint in my overlay). Also, the blocker mentioned in the ebuild (ruby-ldap) has had a ruby19 keyword since may. (In reply to comment #2) > Please also make sure to mark this release again for ruby19. By the way, ruby-ldap has ruby19 target again, so, I think, all puppet releases can be marked back as ruby19-compatible @Matsuu: May I bump it? Infra is migrating from CFengine to Puppet, so it would be best for us to co-maintain the package. I hope there are no objections to this, please raise your concerns otherwise (In reply to comment #3) > By the way, ruby-ldap has ruby19 target again, so, I think, all puppet > releases can be marked back as ruby19-compatible I've just added the ruby19 keyword back to puppet-2.7.18-r1 (latest testing). Both versions have just been added. Puppet-3.x is masked for testing for now. |
