*** Bug 436984 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** The fuck with trivial, fix this shit. I'm not the maintainer for systemd, but I'd be more than happy to submit a patch for this if it's OK with everyone else. That's extremely appreciated. By the way just for everybody's information, I found people before who got their setup broken because they wrote pam_$WHATEVER.la instead of pam_$WHATEVER or pam_$WHATEVER.so in the configuration files, that's why I don't want to have .la files in that directory. patch for systemd-193.ebuild to remove libtool .la file
In patch style, this time.
(In reply to comment #2) > The fuck with trivial, fix this shit. Please watch your language. You're not in a toilet, Sir. And this is a trivial issue with a trivial fix. I'd appreciate if you didn't tell me how to classify my bugs. If it's a trivial fix, then fix it in less than three months next time. The number of tickets I've sent libtool fixes on has me thinking, maybe the libtool eclass should, when inherited, expect packages that actually use LTDL to declare such -- otherwise remove all .la files. But more to the point, *ping!* Fixed in newly-introduced -195. |
