Description Daniel P Truitt 2004-02-21 18:58:04 UTC
When trying to 'emerge -k -f gnome', the dependency atk-1.4.1 fails to download since its md5 checksum is not valid. It does this for every mirror that my system tries to use. There have been past bugs where atk developers make changes to the archive without updating the version number.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -k -f gnome
2.
3.

Actual Results:
The emerge attempts multiple times to download the file from different mirrors
but the file fails the MD5 checksum each time and is deleted.

I think that this error is an isolated problem where a developer changed the
archive without making a new version.

noted, seems all our mirrors have the older release and you by some means only could get the new release.

I updated the digest of atk-1.4.1 & added a RESTRICT=nomirror for now, so it always gets the latest release.

Thanks for the report. Please test.

The change you made seemed to do the trick. Thanks.
