That is true. Unfortunately there is a bug in Gramps' installation routine that prevents running it afterwards. Up to now I was not able to find that bug properly. Any help is appreciated. Bump the packge by renaming the ebuild to gramps-3.4.0.ebuild and after installation try to run it. Created attachment 316229 [details]
Working ebuild
I managed to get a working ebuild for this release. It does install some data files inside the Python site dirs, but I'm not sure that thoroughly cleaning it would be worth the effort, considering the potential for problems later on.
