x86 stable amd64 stable [blocks B ] <net-fs/samba-3.6_rc1 ("<net-fs/samba-3.6_rc1" is blocking net-fs/cifs-utils-5.4) Wouldn't it be nice if a matching net-fs/samba went stable along with this? arm stable just tried to emerge cifs-utils on amd64 it wants to emerge cifs-utils-5.4 results in an emerge error [ebuild N ] net-fs/cifs-utils-5.4 USE="ads caps creds upcall -caps-ng" [blocks B ] net-fs/cifs-utils ("net-fs/cifs-utils" is blocking net-fs/samba-3.5.15) [blocks B ] <net-fs/samba-3.6_rc1 ("<net-fs/samba-3.6_rc1" is blocking net-fs/cifs-utils-5.4) * Error: The above package list contains packages which cannot be * installed at the same time on the same system. (net-fs/cifs-utils-5.4::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) pulled in by cifs-utils (net-fs/samba-3.5.15::gentoo, installed) pulled in by net-fs/samba required by @selected net-fs/cifs-utils-5.5 does not mount a samba share. I does not find any log message. It just happens nothing. mount /mnt/share4 # df |grep share4 # I confirm comment #6. mount -v print nothing. dmesg prints nothing. the mount silently fail. 5.4 works fine. I think this should be filed in another bug, but i found it here with search, so I hope the maintainer will do it if needed. Stable for HPPA. The only job for this tool is to mount cifs-shares (samba-shares). alpha/ia64/s390/sh/sparc stable, closing |
