Unmerging automake-1.12.1 allowed me to subsequently merge lxpanel-0.5.9. This appears to be identical to the bug described in https://bugs.gentoo.org/420333. thank you! removing that version of automake allowed me to properly compile lxpanel ...well, some people... The problem here is '-Werror' within arguments of AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE - this change in automake 1.12: - The warnings in the category 'extra-portability' are now enabled by '-Wall'. In previous versions, one has to use '-Wextra-portability' to enable them. made it fatal. Thanks. Fixed |
