The current OpenAL in portage is very old. This will solve the problem of
oldness and allow people to have voice chat in UT2004 with ALSA in Gentoo. Uses
patch against openal cvs from http://icculus.org/~warp/ut2004/. Someone smarter
than me way want to add Gentoo-specific instructions for voice chat to
pkg_postinst.

I think we should update our OpenAL to this latest version.  If we need to,
I'll create a new "snapshot" ebuild and submit it to the tree.  This version of
OpenAL fixes problems with the VoIP in Unreal Tournament 2004, and honestly,
the version we currently have in portage is unusable due to its age.

Chris, could you prepare the snapshot.  I don't use openal, so I can't really
test it out.  Since you use it, if you want to take maintainership of openal,
feel free to add yourself to the metadata.xml file I just added.
