Same here, and it seems people in archlinux have exactly the same problem https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=138973 beta0 is working, beta2 not; I did not try yet with beta1. Perhaps it breaks only with certain USE cominations. I tried to do minimal: Only USE="custom-flags sdl" is set here, in particular, USE=-truetype which apparently forbids terminal_output gfxterm (otherwise screen would be unreadable). Perhaps it is only the basic editor with default terminal which is broken. I have been told this should be fixed in beta4 once upstream releases it. If anyone wants to backport and test the patch for that, I will do a beta3-r2 bump. Otherwise, I'm waiting on upstream. Should be fixed in beta5. |
