sys-cluster/knem-0.9.7 installs 

/etc/udev/rules.d/45-knem.rules

which udev doesn't like :

udevd[2282]: NAME="%k" is ignored, because it breaks kernel supplied names, please remove it from /etc/udev/rules.d/45-knem.rules:1

This is with udev-182-r2 as well as earlier releases.
