Unless there's a way to compile VLC2 without unicode/widechar support, it seems the proper way to fix this is to change this ebuild line: ncurses? ( sys-libs/ncurses ) to: ncurses? ( sys-libs/ncurses[unicode] ) Please attach the entire build log to this bug report. Created attachment 305411 [details]
