*openrc-0.9.9.3 (11 Mar 2012) 11 Mar 2012; Robin H. Johnson <robbat2@gentoo.org> +openrc-0.9.9.3.ebuild: Version bump, includes critical fix for bug 407757 ifconfig binary move. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 407757 *** |
Created attachment 304941 [details] Output of "emerge --info" This morning I have update my ~amd64 gentoo system as usual, and a new version of net-tools was installed: sys-apps/net-tools-1.60_p20120127084908 With this version /sbin/ifconfig has been moved to /bin/ifconfig. After that net.lo stoped working, with the following boot messages: net.lo |/lib64/rc/net/netplugd.sh: line 24: _exists: command not found net.lo |/lib64/rc/net/wpa_supplicant.sh: line 68: _is_wireless: command not found net.lo |/etc/init.d/net.lo: line 552: _exists: command not found Therefore no connections was stablished. A workaround was making a symlink of /bin/ifconfig to /sbin.
