Correction, it does not emerge successfully when FEATURES="-userpriv" is set, instead it fails when attempting to create a directory in /etc and later segfaults. Should I file a separate bug for that? Build.log for that is attached.
A fix for the original issue has been committed. Portage will now disable the tests when FEATURES=userpriv is enabled and display a warning message explaining that. The original issue has been fixed, so I am closing this as such. With that said, I had been making progress on fixing the test failure before you reported it. I have filed bug #405677 to track my progress on fixing this. I have added both Chris Reffett and Mike Gilbert to it. |
