i think the 3.1 upgrade was fairly benign over 2.6.39 So we may CC some arches? :) amd64 stable Just got the stable 3.1 in my sync, but I am still on kernel 2.6.x, would it make sense to upgrade to 3.1 headers without upgrading kernel? Doing the emerge -uNDavt world suggests I upgrade to 3.1 without upgrading kernel. there has never been a problem with using newer kernel headers than running kernel Thanks for the confirmation, and for the work! Builds fine on x86. Rdeps build also fine. Please mark stable for x86. x86 stable, thanks Myckel Stable for HPPA. arm stable ppc done ppc64 stable alpha/ia64/m68k/s390/sh/sparc stable |
