I have just seen upstream docs expect to find executables in /sbin while we have them installed in /usr/sbin (even if I see no special location specified in our ebuild :-/) (In reply to comment #1) > I have just seen upstream docs expect to find executables in /sbin while we > have them installed in /usr/sbin (even if I see no special location specified > in our ebuild :-/) That is also inconsistent with defaults in /etc/e4rat.conf: ; path to init process binary (DEFAULT: /sbin/init) ; init /sbin/init And I have also seen that, while e4rat-collect collects also files from /home, e4rat-realloc refuses to reallocate some files because "they are inaccessible" (I think that it's caused by me needing to switch to "init 1" and my /home partition being unmounted. Not sure if it's "normal" (it probably is as I don't know how e4rat-preload could even preload files in /home at so early stages during boot :/) Fixed. Files moved to /sbin as well |
