x86: everything fine so far sorry for the noise, not a kernel issue. amd64 ok amd64: aok so far. (In reply to comment #3) > x86: everything fine so far @x86 Please wait, time ago I had an issue with <3.0.4, after ~6 or 7 hours of uptime My machine reboots. I'll check with 3.0.6. Amd64 : Ok I've been running 3.0.4 for some time on my tablet - tested on pretty custom and minimalist config only (i915, C2D, b43, hda-intel). + 16 Oct 2011; Tony Vroon <chainsaw@gentoo.org> gentoo-sources-3.0.6.ebuild: + Marked stable on AMD64 based on arch testing by Blain "doc235" Anderson, + Elijah "Armageddon" El Lazkani & Tomáš "Mepho" Pružina in bug #387047. + 16 Oct 2011; Tony Vroon <chainsaw@gentoo.org> vanilla-sources-3.0.6.ebuild: + Marked stable on AMD64 based on arch testing by Blain "doc235" Anderson, + Elijah "Armageddon" El Lazkani & Tomáš "Mepho" Pružina in bug #387047. I'll wait for bug #387447 to be resolved. Please continue with gentoo-sources, only. vanilla-sources-3.0.6 ebuild has been fixed (it'll no longer clone the whole repo). Consider stabilizing both. Thanks. amd64 too fast as usual, there are some showstoppers. A good test is bug #382585, the package just failed install phase for me with 3.x kernel. Stable for HPPA. x86 ok stable dev-libs/nss is going to fail to build as well: bug 372001 (its closed) (In reply to comment #16) > stable dev-libs/nss is going to fail to build as well: bug 372001 (its closed) I've fixed this... arm/x86 stable Please, only bugs in the kernel should block this. This has been the policy for the 4 years I've been here. alpha/ia64/sh/sparc stable Newer sources are already marked. Closing. |
