Using: gcc version 4.5.3 (Gentoo Hardened 4.5.3-r1 p1.0, pie-0.4.5) CFLAGS="-O2 -pipe -march=native -fomit-frame-pointer" i can't reprocude problem. BTW, did you try to compile with -ggdb and do backtrace with gdb? I have the same problem since yesterday when I recompiled rrdtool (because of perl upgrade). mailgraph started to consume 100% CPU time and fill disk with huge log file - so I tried to dump its rrd files to find out that rrdtool does not work anymore. There isn't a debug use flag. I added "append-flags -ggdb" to the ebuild but I not sure it's the correct way to add the flag because gbd doesn't found debugging symbols. Here is the output I get : GNU gdb (Gentoo 7.2 p1) 7.2 Copyright (C) 2010 Free Software Foundation, Inc. Is "-std=c99" a default option of gentoo? Because I didn't set it and the 1.4 branch works fine. rrdtool-1.4.5-r1 (now stable) fixes the bug. |
