Build log

The package media-video/ffmpeg fails to build without dev-util/pkgconfig. 

My build log is attached. The error is:

ERROR: freetype2 not found

I see 
dirac? ( dev-util/pkgconfig ), 
rtmp? ( dev-util/pkgconfig ), and s
chroedinger? ( dev-util/pkgconfig )

in ebuild. I propose to add 

truetype? ( dev-util/pkgconfig )

in DEPEND or make dev-util/pkgconfig unconditional dependency.
