Attachments: Patch for libsoup to fix compilation error with new gnutls

Description Jelmer Jaarsma 2004-01-09 12:45:20 UTC
opencdk won't compile with libgcrypt 1.1.91 installed. It fails with lots of messages about deprecated stuff.
It can be solved by upgrading opencdk to 0.5.3, but that breaks gnutls. Gnutls can be upgraded to solve that, but that again breaks libsoup, which I haven't been able to fix.
Downgrading libgcrypt to 1.1.12 gets rid of all the compile errors with opencdk, gnutls and libsoup.

Patch for libsoup to fix compilation error with new gnutls

libsoup is easy to fix. Apply the attached patch, which simply removes the use
of an obsolete function recently removed from gnutls, and all is well.

adding gnome@gentoo.org since it involves libsoup and also hanno because of the libgcrypt bump.
Comment 4 Alastair Tse (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-02-04 10:19:27 UTC
taking this one because it's actually libsoup
