Yes, I recently added that check to reduce bandwidth usage since it fetched the list for nearly every operation. I'll work on a solution. Thanks for the link for me to test it with. fixed in commit b08a5e4b34e0258e84714bcef16c1d5d09c71b39. so is available now in layman-9999 and will be in rc2. I was also thinking, that a modified -o option could install the overlay definition instead to /etc/layman.overlays/overlay-name.xml. That could take advantage of the new overlay definitions plug-in directory that can be used for non-list static lists and definitions. If the list is not static then putting an entry in layman.cfg is best so it can be updated regularly. Fixed and released in >=layman-2.0.0_rc2. |
